Dawah committee
Profile:
The primary objective of the Dawah committee is to provide invite people, both Muslims
and non-Muslims, to understand the worship of Allah as expressed in the Qur'ān and
the Sunnah of the prophet, Mohammad (PABH) as well as to inform them about the life
and teachings of prophet Muhammad (PABH) himself. The aim to to grows the strength
of the Muslim local Ummah in knowledge, numbers and quality. "The Dawah committee
is lead by brother Tawfiq Khettanah.
Activities:
The Dawah committee, is responsible for a) Dawah event i.e. monthly
lecture/family day event; b) Sunday "after-fajr Halaqah"; c) Special lecture events;
d) providing information about islam; e) Juma Salah; f) Halton Mosque website etc.
